The petitioner is seeking a direction to 3rd respondent - State Bank of India to forthwith reopen a SB Collect portal for 48 hours or to accept a Demand Draft of Rs.1000/- from the petitioner DJ2025X4591 or from the 75 candidates who fall within clause 24 and to permit them to appear for the preliminary examination to be held on 10th May 2026.

This writ petition was filed on 5th May 2026 whereas the last date for submission of the application was 17th February 2026 pursuant to the advertisement No.A.5504/2025 which was issued on 30th January 2026. The petitioner, namely, Medha Mahdeo Rane has annexed a copy of the demand status from the SB Collect at page 51 of the paper book which indicates that the payment was rejected. However, an excuse is sought to be made that the payment status could not be noticed by her because the online application bgp Page | 1

915.6533.26-WP.docx form was generated. This is least to say that an incorrect statement has been made by the petitioner. The excuse which has been sought to be projected by the learned counsel for the petitioner is not believable. The writ petition lacks bona fide inasmuch as it has been filed about two and half months after the last date of submission of application form.
