Heard learned counsel for the parties.

By the impugned order the Competent Authority has observed that the appropriate remedy for the petitioner is to file an appeal before the Apex Grievance Redressal Committee ("AGRC") under Section 35 of the Maharashtra Slum Areas (Improvement, Clearance and Redevelopment) Act, 1971 if he is aggrieved by the virtue of non inclusion of his name in the Annexure-II. Since the

Bhogale 17.wp-6877-2026.odt petitioner has an efficacious remedy, we do not see any reason to entertain this writ petition. However, at the request of Mr. Mishra, in case the appeal is filed within a period of two weeks from today before the AGRC, the AGRC is requested to expedite the hearing of the appeal and decide the same on its own merits preferably within a period of twelve weeks from the date of its filing. 3.

Keeping all contentions open, the writ petition is disposed of.
