We have heard Mr. Saurabh Pakale, learned Counsel for the petitioner, Mr. Abhijeet Naik, learned AGP for the State and Mr. S. V. Gavand, learned Counsel appearing for Respondent Nos.4 to 7.

At the outset, learned Counsel appearing for respondent Nos. 4 to 7 states that the petitioner's objection dated 8 June 2006 (Exhibit D, page 18 to the petition) to the provisional seniority list of the teachers to be absorbed (page 16 to the petition), insofar as the applicability of the criteria, of the husband and wife to be brought together (पती पत्नी एक ́ીकरण) being applied to the petitioner, would be considered and a reasoned order would be passed in accordance with law, and P. In this view of the matter, without delving into the merit of the other contentions and keeping open all contentions of the parties, we dispose of this petition.
