The Petitioner's Application seeking renewal of his Arms license, has been rejected. The Petitioner has preferred an Appeal on 23rd January, 2026, which is pending with Respondent No.3. 2.

Having heard the learned Advocate for the Petitioner, we find that though there is a First Information Report registered against him, the same does not pertain to any act of physical injury or the use of any of his arms which he is permitted to utilize in the Shooting sports events.

As such, we direct Respondent No.3 to follow the due procedure and decide the Appeal filed on 23rd January, 2026 within a period of forty-five days from today.
