This Court by an order dated 27.11.2020 in Writ Petition No

(2) 942 C. P. 37-2026.odt 7872 of 2020 has directed the respondent/scrutiny committee to decide the tribe claim of the petitioner within a period of six months. 3.

We find that despite the order has been passed on 27.11.2020, till today, there is not progress in the proceedings of tribe claim of the petitioner.

At the out set, the learned A.G.P tenders an apology on behalf of the Contemnor and on instructions makes a statement that the tribe claim of the petitioner will be decided within a period of eight weeks from today.

We accept the said statement as an undertaking given to this Court. We make it clear that any deviation from the undertaking, given to this Court, will amount to an aggravated contempt. 6.

In view of undertaking given, the contempt petition stands disposed of.
