This Court by an order dated 29.07.2025, passed in Writ Petition No.9306/2025, has directed the respondent - Scrutiny Committee to decide the tribe claim of the petitioner within a period of six (6) months from the date of passing of order. As per the said order, the time of six (6) months have been expired on 28.01.2026. Hence, this contempt petition.

Today the learned AGP tenders across the bar letter dated 26.02.2026 on behalf of respondent No.2 stating that the

2 942.CP.86.26.odt tribe claim of the petitioner will be decided within a period of three months from today. The letter dated 26.02.2026 is taken on record and marked 'X' for the purpose of identification. We accept the said statement as an undertaking given to this Court.
