By an order dated 30.09.2025 this Court in Writ Petition No.11648/2025 had directed the respondent - Scrutiny Committee to decide the tribe claim of the petitioner within a period of three months from the date of passing of order.

Since the said order has not been complied with, hence, this contempt petition.

Learned AGP at the outset tenders unconditional apology for not deciding the said tribe claim within stipulated
2 53.CP.112.26.odt period. He however submits that the tribe claim of the petitioner will be decided within a period of three months from today. We take the said statement as an undertaking given to this Court. Any deviation from this undertaking would amount to aggravated contempt. In view thereof, contempt petition stands disposed of.
