This is an application for condonation of delay of 6751 days caused in filing the cross objection.

Perused the application. Heard learned advocates for both sides. Learned advocate for the applicant pointed out the reasons in the application that the applicant is a farmer and not knowing the legal procedure. He was not guided properly. He further submitted that he was not able to manage the funds for filing the cross objection and therefore, he could not file cross objection or appeal within time. He therefore, prayed to allow the application. 3.
Learned A.G.P. for the respondent State strongly opposed the application and submitted that there is no sufficient reason to
ca1783.26 -2condone the delay. The appeal is of the year 2007. After 19 years this application is moved. There is no substance in the grounds raised by the applicant in is application. It is also submitted to dismiss the application.

On perusal of application, it appears that the delay is not caused deliberately and the lis between the parties should be concluded and decided on merits finally. The delay is not caused deliberately. Considering all these aspects, the application deserves to be allowed in the interest of justice. The application is allowed. The delay of 6751 days caused in filing the cross objection is condoned.

It is clarified that the claimant/applicant is not entitled for the interest amount for the delayed period i.e. 6751 days. (SANJAY A. DESHMUKH, J.) rlj/
