The petitioner has filed this Civil Application seeking modification of the order passed by this Court dated 23.09.2016 by which this Court has granted status-quo. 2.

Now, apprehension expressed is that though there is status-quo order, the Zilla Parishad is likely to publish the provisional list of surplus teachers wherein the petitioner's name

We hardly find any justification to have such apprehension when this Court has already passed the order granting status-quo in respect of the post held by the petitioner. Instead of unnecessarily filing the Civil Application, the petitioner could have moved this petition simplicitor. 4.

In view of the above, this Court finds that the petition itself can be disposed of on the next date. On expressing this, the learned AGP seeks some time to take instructions as regards the present petitioner.
