The Respondent No.6 appeared through video conferencing. As 1/3
such, she was directed to remain present in person, nonetheless, upon request we permit her to appear through video conferencing. 2.
As the issue involved in all these Contempt Petitions are identical, they are taken up together.

The contempt is alleged for non-compliance of order dated 8th December 2020 passed by this Court, wherein the Respondent No.5Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Solapur was directed to pay the Petitioners wages at the minimum of pay-scale at the lowest grade in the regular pay scale extended to the regular employees holding the post of 'Ambulance Driver' with effect from the date of the petition. This exercise was to be done within six months from the date of order.

The learned counsel for Respondent No.5 submits that the order has been complied with. He further submits that the Dearness Allowance for the period from October 2025 till March 2026 is pending payment. He submits that necessary steps are being taken and the amounts will be paid within next six months. The statement is accepted.

The counsel for Petitioners submits that the Respondent No.5 has not paid arrears of scale amounting to Rs.3,743/- per month for 45 months.

The counsel for Respondent No.5 submits that the said amount is to be paid by the Contractor to the Petitioners. He further submits that necessary steps will be taken to either recover amount from the Contractor or to cause him to pay the amount to the Petitioners. The statement is accepted.

The counsel further submits that the Respondent No.5 has been now transferred to Pune as Additional Municipal Commissioner. At his request, his presence is exempted.

Since the Respondent No.5 is taking steps to comply with the order, we do not find this to be a case where the willful disobedience of the order could be attributed to Respondent No.5. 9.
