1) By the present transfer application, the applicant-wife of the respondent seeks transfer of the husband's divorce proceedings pending before the Principal Family Court, Sangli to the Civil Judge Senior Division, Pune.
2) It is the case of the applicant that she is staying at Pune along with her parents and 16 years old son. The respondent is not paying any maintenance to the applicant. The respondent is working in Merchant Navy. The distance between Sangli and Pune is 300 kms. 3) After this matter was argued for some time, learned counsel for the respondent, on instructions of the respondent submits that the respondent-husband has no objection if the proceedings before the
Diksha Rane 3 MCA 162026.doc Principal Family Court, Sangli, be transferred to the C.J.S.D., Pune, and the respondent is permitted to attend the Court proceedings through video conferencing.
4) In view of the statement made by learned counsel for the respondent, the MCA stands allowed in terms of prayer clause (a). 4.1) The proceedings of Petition No.A/194/2025, pending before the Principal Family Court, Sangli, be transferred within a period of four weeks from today to the C.J.S.D., Pune.
5) The respondent-husband is permitted to attend the proceeding before the C.J.S.D., Pune through video conferencing. However, whenever necessary, as per the directions of the learned Judge taking up the matter, the respondent will have to attend the proceedings in person.
6) Learned counsel for the applicant is hereby directed to convey the order passed today to the Principal Family Court, Sangli. 7) Similarly, Registrar (Judicial-I) is hereby directed to communicate the order passed today to the Registrar of the Principal Family Court, Sangli, by E-mail.
