Learned Advocate General today makes a statement that the Deputy Collector, Salcete, has initiated action under Section 33 of the Land Revenue Code, 1968, with respect to the subject land bearing Survey No. 4/8-D of Village Veroda, within the jurisdiction of the Cuncolim Municipal Council.

2. The Petitioner also submits that, in the meantime, the Cuncolim Municipal Council has issued appropriate notices and commenced proceedings with regard to the said construction, and has fixed hearings in that regard.

3. It is ascertained that the grievances raised in the Petition have now been addressed by the Authorities, and nothing further survives therein.

4. The Writ Petition stands disposed of in view of the statement made.

5. The Deputy Collector shall dispose of the proceedings under Section 33 within six months from today.

6. The Cuncolim Municipal Council shall dispose of the complaint made before it within a period of three months from today. AMIT S. JAMSANDEKAR, J.
