APRIL 15, 2026 1) Office note dated 27/02/2026 indicates that the respondent husband is served through regular mode, however, there is no appearance on his behalf.
2) The respondent-husband has filed two proceedings i.e. Marriage Petition No. 329/2023 for restitution of conjugal rights and Marriage Petition No.508/2025 seeking divorce before the learned Civil Judge Senior Division, Sangamner, District Ahmednagar. Learned advocate for the applicant informs that the said proceedings are now transferred to the file of the learned Civil Judge Senior Division, Akole.
3) The distance between Darwha to Akole is around 470 k.m. It is stated that there is not direct public mode of transport connecting to Darwha to Akole.
4) The applicant-wife has filed a proceeding under Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005 before the Court of Judicial Magistrate First Class, Arni. The said proceeding is filed prior in point of time.

2 14-mca 10.2026.odt 5) Darwha is at a distance of around 40 k.m. from Arni. The applicant therefore, prays for transfer of petitions filed by husband from Akole to Darwha. Having regard to general convenience of applicant/wife, the transfer application deserves to be allowed.
6) In view of the aforesaid, Misc.Civil Application No.10/2026 is allowed.
7) Marriage Petition Nos.329/2023 and 508/2025 are directed to be transferred from the file of learned Civil Judge Senior Division, Akole to learned Civil Judge Senior Division, Darwha.
8) In the event the respondent-husband makes an application for appearance through video-conferencing, the same may be considered favourably and permission to appear through video-conferencing may be granted on such dates and at such stages as is deemed appropriate by the learned Court at Akole.
