This is an application seeking transfer of Divorce Petition No.A/470/2024 from the file of the learned Family Court at Nagpur to the Court of the learned Civil Judge, Senior Division at Bhandara.

The applicant-wife is staying in a village near Pauni which is stated to be at the distance of around 45 kms from Bhandara. The distance between Bhandara to Nagpur is around 60 kms. The wife will have to travel to Bhandara even if the proceeding is transferred from Nagpur to Bhandara. As stated above, the distance between Bhandara to Nagpur is hardly 60 kms and there is good connectivity between the two towns. The applicant is a housewife. The respondent-husband is working to earn the living. In the circumstances, no case for transfer of proceeding from Bhandara to Nagpur is made out. 3.

However, having regard to the fact that the applicantwife does not have any independent source of income, it will be expedient to direct the respondent-husband to pay sum of

2 07 MCA 89.26.odt Rs.750/- to the applicant-wife for such dates on which the applicant-wife physically attends the Court proceeding at Nagpur. 4.

In the event the applicant-wife makes an application for appearance through video-conferencing, the same may be considered favourably and permission to appear through videoconferencing may be granted on such dates and at such stages as is deemed appropriate by the learned Family Court, Nagpur. 5.

The application is disposed of accordingly.
