MARCH 25, 2026 1) This application is filed seeking transfer of petition bearing No.A-416/2025 from the file of learned Family Court, Akola to learned Civil Judge Senior Division, Manglurpir, District Washim.

2) The applicant-wife is residing at Manora. The distance between Manora and Mangrulpir is around 25 k.m. A proceeding initiated by the applicant-wife under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005, bearing PWDVA Application No.01/2026, is pending before the Court at Manora. 3) Although the address of respondent-husband in the cause title is shown at Akola, it is not in dispute that he is staying at Pune for the purpose of his employment. The respondenthusband will have to travel from Pune to Akola for attending the proceeding before the learned Family Court at Akola. Distance between Akola to Mangrulpir is 60 k.m. Distance between Pune to Akola is around 480 k.m. and that distance between Pune and Mangrulpir is around 470 k.m. Therefore, no prejudice would be KOLHE

4) In view of the aforesaid, transfer application is allowed in the following terms :- (1) The petition bearing No.A-416/2025 is directed to be transferred from learned Family Court, Akola to learned Civil Judge Senior Division, Mangrulpir. (2) In the event the respondent-husband makes an application for appearance through video-conferencing, the same may be considered favourably and permission to appear through video-conferencing may be granted on such dates and at such stages as is deemed appropriate by the learned Civil Judge Senior Division, Mangrulpir.
