APRIL 15, 2026 1) The applicant-wife has filed the present proceeding seeking transfer of Marriage Petition bearing No.407/2025 from the file of learned Civil Judge Senior Division Chandrapur to the Court of Civil Judge Senior Division, Nagpur. 2) The applicant-wife staying at Butibori, which is at a distance around 30 k.m. from Nagpur. The distance between Butibori to Chandrapur is around 125 k.m. It is stated that the applicant is a housewife. As against which, the respondenthusband is a Government Servant. The respondent has immediately after filing of the Marriage Petition, filed proceeding under Section 144 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 at Nagpur. It does not appear that the applicant-wife will suffer any undue hardship in prosecuting the case at Chandrapur. The applicant-wife in any case has to travel to Nagpur even if the application is allowed and the proceeding is transferred to Nagpur. The transfer application, is therefore rejected. It will be open for the applicant-wife to move appropriate application KOLHE

3) In the event the applicant-wife makes an application for appearance through video-conferencing, the same may be considered favourably and permission to appear through videoconferencing may be granted on such dates and at such stages as is deemed appropriate by the learned Court at Chandrapur.
