The petitioners have approached this Court seeking direction against respondent No.1-Joint Charity Commissioner, Amravati to decide the application for grant of stay at Exh. 4 filed by the petitioners in Appeal No. 28 of 2025 on merit within a stipulated period.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the respondent No.1 had observed in order dated 16.07.2025 that " all respondents shall cooperate the Authority to take the final hearing in the matter within next 02 months from today or in case if they do not do it, the stay would start to operate without further reference to the Court".

However, inspite of passing of such order dated 16.07.2025, till date, the appeal is not decided. It is further submitted that thereafter the matter has been listed 28 times
123.wp.185.2026.odt but no orders confirming the stay in terms of order dated 16.07.2025 has been passed. Such request made by the petitioners to the learned Joint Charity Commissioner is also not considered.

Accordingly, we direct the respondent No.1-Joint Charity Commissioner, Amravati Division, Amravati to decide the application below Exh. 4 filed in Appeal No. 28 of 2025 within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of this Order.

The petitioners undertake to furnish the copy of this order to the respondent No.1.
The writ petition stands disposed of, in the above terms. No order as to costs.
