The petitioners are seeking challenge to the notice dated 07/01/2026 issued by the President of Municipal Council Katol whereby it is notified that meeting is scheduled on 15/01/2026 at 1 pm for the election of Vice President of Municipal Council, Katol. The petitioners also seek challenge to the Circular dated 21/12/2016 issued by respondent No.1.

Since the subject matter involved in the present writ petition pertains to the election of local body i.e. Vice President of the Municipal Council Katol, registry is directed to transfer the present writ petition to the Principal Seat of this Court.
