The petitioner has approached this Court praying for various reliefs including the relief which is at prayer Clause (ii), which reads thus :

"ii) In the alternative direct Nagar Panchayat, Nandgaon Khandeshwar to decide the Petitioner's NOC application purely on merits within 15 days, failing which it shall be treated as deemed NOC." 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has pointed out that the petitioner has submitted various applications to the Chief Officer, Nagar Panchayat, Nandgaon Khandeshwar, District Amravati, seeking grant of No Objection Certificate for shifting CL-III Licence from Thane District to Nandgaon Khandeshwar, District Amravati. A perusal of Annexure - P-2 at record page No.24 onwards shows that the petitioner has submitted various applications to respondent No.5 - Chief Officer, Nagar Panchayat, Nandgaon Khandeshwar, District Amravati, from the year 2018 till 2025. The last such application on record is at page No.31 dated 09.04.2025.

Shri. Babrekar, learned counsel for the petitioner, submits that respondent No.5 has not decided the said applications till date and, for want of No Objection Certificate, the process of shifting the CL-III Licence from Thane District to Nandgaon Khandeshwar is pending.

In view of the above, we dispose of the present writ petition with a direction to respondent No.5 - Chief Officer, Nagar Panchayat, Nandgaon Khandeshwar, District Amravati, to decide the petitioner's application for grant of No Objection Certificate for shifting of his CL-III Licence, which is at record page No.31 dated 09.04.2025, within a stipulated period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of this order. The decision taken thereon shall be communicated to the petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date of such decision. 6.
