Heard Shri Mirza, learned counsel for the petitioner. 2.

The contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that the petitioner was appointed as Hostel Supervisor in the respondent No.6School, run by the respondent No.5-Management. The petitioner was appointed in the year 1999, and since 2008, the Management had submitted various proposals for the approval of the petitioner's appointment on the aforesaid post, however, such proposals are not decided by the respondent No.2. The latest proposal to the Competent Authority, i.e. the respondent No.2-Director, Department of Higher and Technical Education, Pune, dated 2nd January, 2023, is at record page no.47 (Annexure-Q). Thus, the petitioner seeks a direction of this Court to decide the aforesaid proposal within a stipulated period. 3.

In view of above, we dispose of the present petition with a direction to the respondent No.2 to decide the proposal for grant of approval to the appointment of the petitioner on the post of Hostel Supervisor, which is at

2 WP-490-2026.odt record page no.47 (Annexure-Q), within a stipulated period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of the order. The decision taken thereupon shall be communicated to the petitioner within a period of two weeks thereafter.
