The petitioners have approached this Court with following prayer :

"(i) Direct the respondent No.2, Additional Commissioner, Tribal Development Department, Nagpur, to decide the representations of the petitioners dated 08/01/2025, 06/01/2025, 30/12/2024, 06/2025 and 20/01/2025 (Annexure No.8) and pay the arrears of the salary of the petitioners for the period from the date of declaration of surplus to till the date of their joining, along with appropriate interest."

Since an innocuous prayer is being made by the petitioners for directions to respondent No.2, Additional Commissioner, Tribal Development Department, Nagpur to decide the representations made by the petitioners as mentioned in aforesaid prayer clause, we dispose of the present writ petition with the direction to respondent No.2Additional Commissioner, Tribal Development Department, Nagpur to decide the representations dated 08/01/2025, 06/01/2025, 30/12/2024, 06/01/2025 and 20/01/2025 which are at Annexure No.8 within a stipulated period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of the order of this Court.

The petitioners undertake to produce the order of this Court before the respondent No.2-Additional Commissioner, Tribal Development Department, Nagpur.

The decision taken on the aforesaid representations shall be communicated to the petitioners within a period of two weeks from the date of such decision.
