The petitioner No.1 was the owner of the land bearing Gat No.191, admeasuring 1.36 H.R. of Mouza Wanoja, Tahsil Warora, District Chandrapur which was acquired by the present respondents for its open cast project. 3.

The contention of the petitioners is that the petitioner No.1 is entitled for employment as per the R and R policy adopted by the present respondents. Accordingly, the petitioner No.1 had submitted an application on 09.04.2025 nominating his daughter- the petitioner No.2 for being appointed under the aforesaid R and R policy. 4.

The aforesaid application is on record at page 34 (Annexure D). The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that even after almost passage of more than ten months, the aforesaid application is not yet decided.

Accordingly, we direct the respondent No.2 to decide the application dated 09.04.2025, submitted by the petitioner, which is on record at page 34 (Annexure D), within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of order of this Court.

The decision taken thereupon shall be communicated to the petitioners within a period of two weeks from the date of decision.

The writ petition stands disposed of, in the above terms. No order as to costs. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed of.
