Heard Shri R.D. Bhuibhar, the learned counsel for the petitioners. 2.
Contention is that the petitioners, who are cotton growing farmers at Village Chikhalgaon, Tahsil Patur, District Akola, had submitted a representation to the respondent no.3 requesting to start the Cotton Procurement Centre at Samyak Ginning Factory at Village Chikhalgaon. The aforesaid representation dated 27.09.2025 is at record page 21-Annexure A.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners that the aforesaid representation has been forwarded by the Joint Director, Marketing, Maharashtra State, Pune to the respondent no.2-Managing Director, Cotton Corporation of India, Mumbai for its decision. The aforesaid communication dated 13.11.2025 is at record page 28Annexure E. However, till date no decision on the said representation has been taken by the respondent no.2.

Since the prayer is pertaining to the opening of the Cotton Procurement Centre, which is a seasonal produce and the season is about to end, we direct the respondent no.2 to decide the representation dated 27.09.2025 submitted by the petitioners and
123-WP-755-2026.odt 2 forwarded by the Joint Director, Marketing, Pune, vide its communication dated 13.11.2025, within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of the order passed by this Court. Decision taken thereupon shall be communicated to the petitioners within a period of two weeks thereafter.
