The petitioners have approached this Court seeking a direction to the learned 12th Joint Civil Judge, Senior Division, Nagpur, to decide Regular Civil Suit No.1076 of 2015, within a stipulated period.

A perusal of the roznama reveals that although the suit was filed on 28.11.2015 and even after the passage of more than ten years, the examination-in-chief of PW-1 is not recorded. Likewise, the examination-in-chief of the plaintiff, which was commenced on 04.01.2024, is not yet completed as on 05.01.2026, and the matter is now posted as a part-heard matter on 03.02.2026.

In view of the above, we dispose of the present writ petition with a direction to the learned 12th Joint Civil Judge, Senior Division, Nagpur, to decide Regular Civil Suit No.1076 of 2015, within a period of one year from the date of this order. The parties to the said suit are directed to cooperate with the learned Trial Court for the time-bound disposal of the suit.
