Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. 2.

The sole prayer made before this Court is to direct Respondent No.1 - Chief Secretary, Finance Department, State of Maharashtra, to consider and decide the representation dated 07.10.2024 (page 47). By way of the said representation, the petitioner has requested to revise the Daily Allowance payable to Health Workers, Health Assistants, and Health Supervisors to 2.67, in accordance with the recommendations of the 7th Pay Commission. The petitioner has further sought fixation and disbursement of the Permanent Travel Allowance, upon determination of their entitlement.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that although the representation was submitted on 07.10.2024, even after the lapse of nearly one and a half years, the said nd.thawre

2/2 representation has not been decided by the respondents. 4.

Accordingly, we direct the respondent No.1 to decide the aforesaid representation dated 07.10.2024 within eight weeks from the date of receipt of this order. 5.

The learned counsel for the petitioner undertakes to furnish copy of this order to the respondent No.1 within one week from today.

The decision taken shall be communicated to the petitioner within two weeks from the date of such decision. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of in the above terms. No order as to costs.
