The petitioner has approached this Court seeking a direction to respondent No.3 - Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Chandrapur, to take a decision on the application submitted by the petitioner for regularizing the services of her husband in light of the Government Resolution dated 1st January, 2010, and for granting her appointment on compassionate grounds.

Perusal of the petition reveals that the petitioner had submitted an application on 7th July, 2015 to respondent No.3 - Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Chandrapur. Respondent No.3, after considering the contents of the said application, submitted a proposal to respondent No.1 - State of Maharashtra on 29th May, 2018 seeking guidance for deciding the aforesaid application.

Though the aforesaid communication was issued on 29th May, 2018, Mr. Deshpande, learned counsel for the petitioner, submits that till date no such correspondence has been communicated by respondent No.1 to respondent No.3. Therefore, he has alternatively prayed for a direction to respondent No.1 - State of Maharashtra to act in accordance with the communication dated 29th May, 2018.

In view of the above, we dispose of the present writ petition with a direction to respondent No.1 - State of Maharashtra to consider the proposal dated 29th May, 2018 submitted by respondent No.3 - Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Chandrapur, which is at record page No.19 (Annexure-F), and to communicate its decision to respondent No.3 within a stipulated period of eight weeks from the date of production of this order.
