The petitioner seeks challenge to the impugned order dated 26/06/2025 issued by the respondent No.5-Deputy Collector (Revenue), Washim whereby the application for allotment of agricultural land in favour of the petitioner as exserviceman came to be rejected. 2.

Perusal of the impugned order reveals that the aforesaid order has been passed by the respondent No.5-Deputy Collector under the provisions of Section 31 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966 (for short the MLR Code). Since the Corrected as per Court's order dated.18/03/2026.

aforesaid order is revisable under Section 257 (3) of the MLR Code, before the State Government, Shri Anand Shinde, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present petition with liberty to avail alternate remedy available in law.

In view of the above, permission is granted. Writ Petition is disposed of as withdrawn with liberty as prayed for. Needless to mention that we have not observed anything on merits of the matter and all the grounds raised in the petition are kept open.

No order as to costs.
