By the present petition, the petitioners seek regularization. Admittedly, the petitioners are claiming this relief against respondent Nos.5 to 8, which are four different cement manufacturing industries.

In a writ petition, this Court cannot adjudicate the grievance raised by the petitioners-federation/ Sanghatana/Sangh/Union on behalf of all workers employed with respondent Nos.5 to 8.

In that view of the matter, we are of the opinion that the petitioners have an alternate remedy, which they may avail. We are further of the opinion that if the petitioners make a detailed representation, giving all necessary details in support of the relief sought in the petition, to their respective employers, i.e., respondent Nos.5 to 8, the purpose will be served by directing the said respondents to consider and decide such representation.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioners to make a representation to their respective employers seeking the reliefs stated in the present writ petition. 6.

If such representation is made within six weeks from today, respondent Nos.5 to 8 are directed to decide the same within a period of four months from the date of submission of the representation.

If any adverse order is passed, the petitioners are at liberty to approach the appropriate forum by filing appropriate proceedings. No costs.
