Heard Mr. Sirsat, learned Counsel for the petitioners. 2.

The petitioners have approached this Court praying for the following reliefs :

"(a) to issue an appropriate writ, order or direction to the respondents to pay compensation of Rs.40,00,000/- (Rs. Forty Lac Only) towards untimely death caused due to the gross negligence of the respondents.

(b) grant any other relief which this Hon'ble Court may deems, fit and proper and sufficient in the facts and circumstances of the case may kindly be granted in favour of the petitioners, in the interest of justice and legality."

However, perusal of the petition reveals that the petitioners have already approached the respondent no.2 by submitting an representation on 10-09-2025, which is on record at page no.39 at Annexure-'J'. Learned Counsel for the petitioners submits that the aforesaid representation is not yet decided by the respondent no.2 and hence the claim of the petitioners is not rejected. 4.

In view of the above, we dispose of the present writ petition with a direction to the respondent no.2-Sub-Divisional Engineer, MSEDCL, Chandur Railway, District Amravati, to decide the representation

2 wp 1056.26.odt dated 10-09-2025, which is on record at page no.39 at Annexure-'J', within a stipulated period of 08 weeks from the date of receipt of the order of this Court.

The decision taken thereupon, shall be communicated to the petitioners within a period of two weeks thereafter. 6.

Writ petition is accordingly disposed of.
