Learned counsel for the petitioner, learned AGP and learned counsel for respondents submit that the parties have settled the controversy regarding the reinstatement and backwages of the petitioner.

The document of the memorandum of settlement dated 16.02.2026, signed by the parties is also filed on record. Since, the controversy has been settled in terms of said document of settlement, the writ petition is accordingly disposed of.

In view of the settlement, controversy relating to the challenge to the impugned order dated 22.08.2025 does not survive. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of in accordance with the memorandum of settlement.
