The petitioner has approached this Court seeking direction to the respondent No.1 for granting a benefit of 56% dearness allowance amounting to Rs.5,13,335/- (Rupees Five Lacs Thirteen Thousand Three Hundred and Thirty Five only) with effect from 31.05.2017 to the petitioner. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has invited our attention to the order dated 12.08.2025 passed by the respondent No. 3-District Deputy Registrar, Co-operative Society, Amravati, which is on record at page 37 (Annexure L).

Perusal of the aforesaid order reveals that respondent No.3-District Deputy Registrar has already upheld the entitlement of the petitioner and similarly situated employees for grant of such benefit of 56% dearness allowance. However, respondent No. 3- District Deputy

Registrar has directed respondent No.1- Krushi Utpanna Bazar Samiti, Amravati to take decision in that regard by passing necessary resolution.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that this order was passed on 12.08.2025. In pursuance of the said order, the respondent No.1 has not yet taken meeting and has passed resolution to that effect as directed by respondent No.3-District Deputy Registrar, Co-operative Society, Amravati. The petitioner has also submitted a representation on 16.08.2025 to the respondent No.1 thereby pointing out the order passed by the respondent No.3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that even such representation is also not decided by respondent No.1.

In view of the above, we direct the respondent No. 1- Krushi Utpanna Bazar Samiti, Dhamangaon Railway, Amravati to decide the aforesaid representation submitted by the petitioner, on 16.08.2025, within a stipulated period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of order of this Court. 8.

The respondent No.1 is directed to decide the aforesaid representation after considering the order dated 12.08.2025 passed by the respondent No. 3-District Deputy Registrar, Co-operative Society, Amravati.

The learned counsel for the petitioner undertakes to produce the copy of this order before the respondent No.1 within a period of one week from today.

The decision taken thereupon shall be communicated by respondent No.1 to the petitioner within a period of two weeks thereafter.

Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed of. No order as to costs.
