The petitioners, who were absorbed in the establishment of respondent - NIT, have approached this Court seeking a direction to respondent - NIT to decide their representation for grant of various reliefs such as payment of salary, fixation of pay scale, and arrears of salary.

Mrs. Deshpande, learned counsel for the petitioners, submits that though a detailed representation claiming the aforesaid reliefs has been made, respondent - NIT has not decided the same, and therefore a direction be issued to decide the representation within a stipulated period. 4.
However, the communication dated 25th November, 2025, issued by the General Manager of NIT, which is at record page No.163 (Annexure-15), reveals that respondent - NIT has considered the representation and observed that the issue
104.WP.1311.2026 2/2 pertaining to monetary benefits is sub judice before the learned Industrial Court in ULP No.1/2024. It is further stated that an opinion from the panel advocate is being sought, and necessary action pursuant to the representation shall be taken thereafter. 5.
In view of the above, Mrs. Deshpande, learned counsel, seeks permission to withdraw the present writ petition with liberty to approach the Court as and when the occasion arises. 6.
Permission is granted.

The writ petition is disposed of as withdrawn with liberty as prayed for. No costs.

Needless to mention that all the grounds raised in the present writ petition are kept open.
