An innocuous prayer is made in the present writ petition seeking a direction to respondent Nos.1 and 2 to decide the application dated 6th May, 2025 expeditiously. 3.

It is the contention of the petitioner that he is running an FL-III licence bearing No.503 at Mouza Bhendalal, Taluka Varora, District Chandrapur. The said licence is presently being run on the ground floor of a building.

The petitioner submitted an application on 6th May, 2025 to respondent No.2 seeking permission to shift the said licence from the ground floor to the first floor of the same building.

However, Mr. Undre, learned counsel for the petitioner, submits that despite lapse of almost one and half years, the said application has not yet been decided by respondent No.2. He

117.WP.1319.2026 2/2 therefore seeks a direction from this Court for expeditious disposal of the application.

In view of the above, we dispose of the present writ petition with a direction to respondent Nos.1 and 2 to decide the petitioner's application dated 6th May, 2025, which is at record page No.13 (Annexure-B), seeking shifting of the FL-III licence, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of this order.

The petitioner undertakes to produce a copy of this order before respondent Nos.1 and 2 within one week from today. 8.
