Learned counsel for the petitioners contends that the petitioners are forest labourers whose claim for regularization has not been decided by respondent No. 3. 3.

In view of the contention raised, we direct the respondent No. 3 to treat the present petition as a representation and decide the same, within a period of eight weeks from today.

The respondent authorities are further directed to take into consideration the grounds raised in this petition. 5.

Learned counsel for the petitioners undertake to produce a copy of this petition along with the order passed today before the respondent authorities, within a period of one week from today.

The decision taken thereupon shall be communicated to the petitioners within a period of two weeks from the date of decision.
