The present petition is filed challenging the transfer order of husband-petitioner, which is contrary to the couple policy of the Government, in view of Government Resolution dated 18/06/2024. The only prayer the petitioner is seeking that to consider the representation dated 10/12/2025 and decide the same.

Learned Counsel for the respondent drew our attention to the order passed by this Court in Writ Petition No.4946/2025 (Pramod Rambhau Kove vs. The State of Maharashtra & Ors.) dated 26/08/2025. However, the learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that prayer in the said petition was different as he was transfer more than 30 km. away from his original place and the place where his wife is in service.

In the present matter, the petitioner made a representation dated 10/12/2025 to the respondent No.1 - Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Yavatmal, which is pending before the authority. In view of the limited prayer, the petitioner is seeking to direct the respondent No.1 to decide the said representation in time bound manner. 5.

The learned Counsel for the respondents submitted that within two weeks, the representation can be directed to be decided.

As such, the writ petition is allowed.

The respondent No.1 - Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Yavatmal is hereby directed to decide the representation dated 10/12/2025 as per Government Resolution dated 18/06/2024.

The petitioner to appear before the respondent No.1 - Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Yavatmal on 25/02/2026 along with copy of this order.

The respondent No.1 - Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Yavatmal to decide the representation dated 10/12/2024, within a period of two weeks thereafter. The writ petition stands disposed of in the above terms. No order as to costs.
