The petitioner/ land owner has approached this Court seeking relief in terms of prayer "A" which is reproduced as under:

"(A) Issue appropriate writ, order or direction to the respondent no.1 to decide the applications U/s 28A of Land Acquisition Act-1894 filed on the basis of the judgment passed by 7th Joint Civil Judge Senior Division, Nagpur in L.A.R. No.198/2003 of village Ridhora in Land Acquisition No.2/A-65/92-93 at the earliest."

Since an innocuous prayer is being made for a direction to respondent No.1 to decide the application dated 01.08.2024 which is at record page 37 under Section 28A of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894, we dispose of present writ petition with direction to respondent No.1 to decide the aforesaid application dated 01.08.2024 within a

119 wp 1821-2026.odt stipulated period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of the order of this Court.

The petitioner undertakes to produce a copy of the order of this Court. The decision taken thereupon shall be communicated to the petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date of the decision.
