The petitioner's challenge is to the order dated 07.03.2026, passed by the trial court, rejecting the application for status quo, filed in the pending suit.

By advancing contentions that the petitioner is running a shop in the temporary structure of tin shed, which is likely to be demolished during the pendency of the temporary injunction application in the suit, a request is made for grant of status quo, so that the shop is not demolished.

In view of this, issue notice to the respondents, returnable on 17th March 2026.

The petitioner is directed to serve respondent No.2 by private mode, in addition to regular mode of service, including service on the learned Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondent before the trial court, by next date and file affidavit of service in that regard. 7.
Only with an intention to temporarily protect the petitioner's structure, by way of ad-interim relief, the parties are directed to maintain status quo, till the returnable date. 8.
It is made clear that the trial court is entitled to decide the application for temporary injunction on its own merits, without being influenced by this interim order.
