Heard Shri Ramteke, learned Counsel for the Petitioner, Ms. Jaipurkar, learned AGP for the Respondent No. 1 and Shri S. Zoting, learned Counsel who is appearing for the Respondent No. 2, as per the direction of this Court.

(2) By this Petition, the Petitioner is seeking direction to the Respondent No. 1 - Caste Scrutiny Committee to decide the tribe claim of the Petitioner which was submitted on 24/01/2025 in time bound manner. The Respondent No. 2 issued a notice to the Petitioner on 04/02/2026, informing that failure to submit the caste validity certificate, the services of the Petitioner may be terminated. In view of this notice, there is apprehension to the Petitioner that his services may ..

1wp2153.26 1wp2153.26 be terminated for want of caste validity certificate, whereas the proposal to decide the tribe claim of the Petitioner is pending with the Respondent No. 1 - Caste Scrutiny Committee.

(3) In view of the above, we direct the Respondent No. 1 - Caste Scrutiny Committee to decide the tribe claim of the Petitioner within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. (4) In the meanwhile, the Respondent No. 2 is hereby directed not to take any coercive steps in respect of the employment of the Petitioner for want of submission of the caste validity certificate.
