Issue notice to the respondents.

Mrs. D.I. Charlewar, learned A.G.P. waives notice on behalf of respondent No.1.

In view of the order, we are passing notice to the respondent No.2 is being dispensed with.

Present petition is filed seeking a direction that the petitioner is entitled for Graduate Teacher Senior Pay Scale w.e.f. 10.5.2019 and for a further direction to make applicable the said Graduate Teacher Senior Pay Scale to the petitioner from the said date and also to pay the arrears along with interest.

Mr. A.M. Tirukh leaned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, submits that he does not want to press the prayer clause (I) at present and he would be satisfied if a direction to the respondent No.2 to decide the representation dated 17.10.2025 would suffice for the present post. 6.

In that view of the matter, we dispose of the

1-wp2291.26.odt 2/2 petition with direction to respondent No.2 i.e. the Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Akola to decide the representation preferred by the petitioner on 17.10.2025 as expeditiously as possible.

Needless to mention that the said decision would be in accordance with law and within four weeks from the date of order.

To avoid any complication we direct the petitioner to appear before the respondent No.2 on 30th April, 2026 and abide by further directions.

The petition is disposed of.
