Heard the learned counsel for the parties.

It is contention of the petitioners that on 20/02/2026, the respondent No.3-Block Development Officer, Panchayat Samiti, Yavatmal issued communication to some teachers for counselling. The petitioners submitted their objections on 25/02/2026. It is contended that the absorption of the surplus teachers have not made as per the guidelines enumerated in GR dated 18/05/2011. Therefore, the petitioners again moved objections on 13/03/2026. The petitioners submit that they would be satisfied if the respondent Nos.1 to 3 decide their objections before effecting transfer list to the extent of petitioners.

The petition is partly allowed.

The respondent No.1-Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad Yavatmal is hereby directed to decide both the objections dated 25/02/2026 and 13/03/2026 as early as possible preferably within two weeks from the date of appearance of the petitioners.

The petitioners to appear before the respondent No.1Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad Yavatmal on 30/04/2026 at 11.00 am.

The petition stands disposed of in the above terms. No costs.
