Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners. 2.

The petitioners, by way of alternate prayer, seek direction to the learned Maharashtra Revenue Tribunal (MRT), Aurangabad Bench (Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar), to hear and decide the revision within a stipulated period. 3.

The contention is that the aforesaid revision arises from orders passed by the revenue authority within the jurisdiction of this Court. However, such revision cannot be taken up by the MRT, Nagpur, due to the absence of a Presiding Officer.

In view of the above, the petitioners were constrained to approach the learned MRT, Aurangabad, where the aforesaid revision is pending.

The learned counsel for the petitioners has invited our attention to the communication dated 20.02.2026 (page 61), for urgent listing of above revision. nd.thawre

In view of the urgency involved in the matter, the petitioners approached the learned MRT, Nagpur seeking an urgent hearing. However, in the absence of a Presiding Officer at MRT, Nagpur, the Registrar, MRT Nagpur, by way of a communication, requested the Registrar, MRT, Aurangabad to place the aforesaid matter before the learned MRT, Aurangabad for urgent consideration.

However, even after the lapse of nearly one month, the aforesaid matter has not been placed before the learned MRT, Aurangabad for urgent hearing. Hence, the present petition.

In view of above, we direct the learned MRT, Aurangabad to hear and decide the interim application for grant of stay in revision bearing No.

REV/TNC/YAV-52/2025, in accordance with law, within 15 days from the date of receipt of this order. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of in the above terms. No order as to costs.
