Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. 2.

The contention is that the petitioner and his siblings are the absolute owners of the immovable property i.e. plot admeasuring 5000 Sq. Ft. having Survey No.903/3, Khasra No.334, Mouza Mul, District Chandrapur.

The respondent No.3-Chief Officer, Nagar Parishad, Mul had taken the land of the petitioner, admeasuring 90 Sq. Meters, out of the above said plot for construction of cement road.

The petitioner and his siblings were not given any notice for acquiring the land and have also not received any compensation from the respondents at any time. 5.

The respondent No.3 has issued a communication dated 20.02.2025 which is at record Page 20, Annexure-D, thereby, demanding amount of Rs.35,00,000/- for such acquisition and construction.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that even after more than one year, no payment has been made to the petitioner in respect of the said acquisition. 7.

In view of above, we direct the respondent No.3Chief Officer, Nagar Parishad, Mul, Dist. Chandrapur to expedite the acquisition proceedings of portion of 90 Sq. Meters area, out of the plot, admeasuing 5000 Sq. Ft. having survey No.903/3, Khasra No.334, Mouza Mul, District Chandrapur within eight weeks from the date of receipt of this order.

The learned counsel for the petitioner undertakes to furnish copy of this order to the respondent No.3 within one week from today.

The decision taken shall be communicated to the petitioner within two weeks from the date of such decision. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of in the above terms. No order as to costs.
