The contention is that the petitioner is entitled to the benefit of the Career Advancement Scheme as provided under Government Resolution dated 06.02.2006. However, the respondents have not granted such benefit to the petitioner on the ground that the past continuous approved service rendered by the petitioner from 07.11.2017 to 04.10.2023 was in respondent No.7 - S. B. Jain Institute of Technology, Management & Research, Nagpur, which is a private unaided college.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner had preferred an application dated 20.12.2024 seeking grant of the benefit of the Career Advancement Scheme. The said application is at record page No.88 (Annexure-I). This is the corrected order pursuant to the speaking to minutes of the order dated 6th May 2026. MJ Jadhav

In view of the above, the petitioner has approached this Court.

Considering the grievance raised by the petitioner, we dispose of the present writ petition with a direction to respondent Nos.3 and 4 to process the claim of the petitioner for grant of the benefit of the Career Advancement Scheme in accordance with Government Resolutions dated 06.02.2006 and 11.02.1994, as well as the UGC Notification dated 30.06.2010. 6.

The aforesaid respondents are further directed to consider the judgments of this Court rendered in Writ Petition No.6280/2016 and Writ Petition No.2664/2021. The aforesaid respondents shall take a decision on the aforesaid application dated 20.12.2024 submitted by the petitioner within a period of eight weeks from the date of production of this order. 7.

The decision so taken shall be communicated to the petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date of such decision.
