Motwani, learned counsel for the petitioners. 2.

The petitioners are the registered Labour Contract Societies. In March 2024, various tenders were issued by the respondents for the works of Roads and Bridges (District and Other Roads) under the Tribal Sub-Plan Scheme in Bhandara district. The petitioners were the successful bidders and were accordingly allotted the Work Order. 3.

The petitioners have successfully completed the work and have raised bills for the aforesaid works. Such bills were submitted in 2024 after completion of the works. The entitlement of the petitioners and accordingly release of the aforesaid amount under the bills was decided by the respondent No.3-Superintendent Engineer, Public Works Division, Nagpur Circle, Nagpur and as such on 16/05/2025, he issued a communication to respondent No.1 seeking grant of funds for making payment of such bills. Communication dated 16/05/2025 is at record page 32, Annexure-4.

Shri Motwani, learned counsel submits that though such communication is issued in May, 2025, till date neither the funds are received by respondent No.3 nor such payments are being made to the

In view of the aforesaid reasons, we dispose of the present writ petition with a direction to the respondent No.1 to treat the present writ petition as representation made on behalf of the petitioners for release of funds and accordingly payment of the same to the petitioners.

Respondent No.1 is directed to decide such representation within a period of eight weeks from the date of production of the order of this Court with copy of the present writ petition. The decision taken thereupon shall be communicated by the respondent No.1 to the respondent No.3 so also the petitioners within a period of two weeks from the date of such decision.

No order as to costs.
