The petitioner has approached this Court seeking a direction to the respondents to release the scholarship in respect of the scholarship proposal dated 21.12.2024 submitted by the petitioner.

The petitioner relies upon the Government Resolution dated 07.03.2025, which is at record page No.28 (Annexure-3), whereby the name of the petitioner has been included in the list of the students found selected for the academic year 2024-25. However, a perusal of the aforesaid Government Resolution reveals that the aforesaid selection of the petitioner at serial No.27 is subject to the verification of the income of the entire family of the petitioner. The aforesaid Government Resolution is dated 07.03.2025 and now, almost more than one year has been lapsed and thus, the petitioner has approached this Court. 4.
Shri. I. J. Damle, learned Asst. G. P., who appears for respondent Nos.1 and 2, submits that the necessary decision on
110 WP-2814-2026 the aforesaid proposal will be taken by the respondents, within a period of two weeks on its own merits and in accordance with law and such decision will be communicated to the petitioner. 5.
In view of the above, we dispose of the present writ petition with a direction to respondents to decide the aforesaid proposal dated 21.12.2024 submitted by the petitioner, within a stipulated period of two weeks from the date of production of the order of this Court. The decision taken thereupon shall be communicated to the petitioner within a period of two weeks thereafter. 6.
