Heard Shri. A. R. Fule, learned counsel for petitioner. 2.

The petitioner has approached this Court praying for the following relief :

"(a) Issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order, or direction, commanding the Respondents to forthwith release the entire withheld terminal benefits of the Petitioner, including Provident Fund of Rs.20,80,576.68, Gratuity of Rs.16,98,763.00, and Commutation of Pension of Rs.10,11,568.00, along with interest at a rate deemed fit by this Hon'ble Court from 01.09.2018 till the date of actual payment;" 3.

However, a perusal of prayer clause (b) reveals that the petitioner has already submitted a representation on 04.03.2026 seeking reliefs regarding immediate release of the withheld pensionary benefits and for restructuring of staff housing loan in accordance with the Bank's prevailing policies. 4.

In prayer clause (b), the petitioner has sought direction to the respondents to consider such representation and decide it in accordance with the Branch Circular No.108/193 dated 16.01.2015.

In view of the above, since an innocuous prayer is being made at the behest of the petitioner, we dispose of the present

108 WP-2817-2026 writ petition with a direction to respondent Nos.1 and 2 to decide the aforesaid representation dated 04.03.2026, which is at record page No.29 (Annexure - X), within a stipulated period of four weeks from the date of production of the order of this Court. The respondents are directed to decide such representation on its own merits and in accordance with law, more specifically in accordance with the Bank's prevailing policies and more specifically in accordance with Branch Circular No.108/193 dated 16.01.2015.

The decision taken thereupon shall be communicated to the petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date of such decision.
