Petitioners raise a grievance that the respondents-Authorities have started the construction and widening of two lane Tar road for the Madheli- Warora -Pavana- Chandankheda to Moharli (Tadoba) Maharashtra State Highway No.371 without acquiring the agricultural lands of the petitioners and/or without giving any compensation to them. Accordingly, the petitioners have raised their detail objection ans also raised a claim for compensation before carrying out such construction work.

Shri S. N. Singh, learned counsel has invited our attention to the aforesaid objection/representation dated 23/02/2026 which is at record page 60, Annexure-C. It is submitted that the respondents though have received such representation and sufficient time has been passed, they have not decided the same and infact have started the construction work.

In view of the above, we dispose of the present writ petition with a direction to respondent No.2-Executive Engineer, Public Works Department No.1, Chandrapur and respondent No.3-Sub Divisional Engineer, Public Works Department, Warora, District Chandrapur to decide the aforesaid representation dated 23/02/2026 (record page 60, Annexure-C) made by the petitioners within a stipulated period of four weeks from the date of production of the order of this Court. The decision taken thereupon shall be communicated to the petitioners within a period of two weeks from the date of such decision. 5.

No costs.
