Ms. H.N. Jaipurkar, learned A.G.P. waives notice on behalf of respondent Nos.3 and 4.

In view of the order, we are proposing to pass notice to the respondent Nos.1 and 2 is being dispensed with. 4.
The present petition challenges the order dated 30th June, 2025 passed by the respondent No.1 imposing upon the petitioner a minor penalty of stoppage of annual increment, as it transpired from the memo of the petition, the petitioner has already filed an appeal before the respondent No.3 on 22.9.2025.

Learned counsel for the petitioner however, points us out that the charge-sheet has been issued to him in the matter. Even though there is nothing on record to support the submission, we believe the statement of counsel for the petitioner.

Taking overall view of the matter, we direct the
914-wp2938.26.odt 2/2 respondent No.3 to decide the appeal of the petitioner which is filed on 22.9.2025 as expeditiously as possible and in accordance with law within six weeks from the date of receipt of the order.

The petitioner to appear before the respondent No.3 on 13th May, 2026 and appraise the authority with the passing of order of this Court.

We further direct that no coercive action with respect to the charge-sheet which is issued to the petitioner be taken till the decision of the appeal by the respondent No.3. 9.
