) Heard.

4 wp 3352-2026.odt 2/3 2.

Issue notice to the respondents.

3.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader waives notice for respondent /State.

4.

Rule. Rule is made returnable forthwith. Heard finally with the consent of the parties.

5.

In view of the limited prayer sought in the petition, we do not think it fit to call for any reply of the Scrutiny Committee. 6.

The Petition seeks a direction to direct the Scrutiny Committee to decide the caste claim of the petitioner in accordance with law as early as possible.

7.

Having gone through the record of the matter, we find that the proposal for verification of caste claim was filed on 18.12.2025. The learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that she is intending to pursue her education in engineering faculty and therefore during the pendancy, if she could not get the caste claim validated that would create complication. He therefore prays for expeditious disposal.

4 wp 3352-2026.odt 3/3 8.

In view of limited and innocuous relief as prayed for in the petition, we direct the Scrutiny Committee, Buldhana to decide the claim of the petitioner in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible and in any case within three months from the date of this order.

9.

With these directions, the petition is disposed of. Rule is made absolute in the above terms.

(NANDESH S. DESHPANDE, J.) (SMT. M.S. JAWALKAR, J.) Jayashree..
