Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

By this petition, the petitioner is seeking direction against the respondents to refund the transport fees paid by the petitioner for the period 1986-87 to 2004-05 alongwith interest @ 9% per annum until repayment. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that issue involved in the present writ petition is covered by the order passed by this Court in Writ Petition No.5016 of 2024 (M/s. Vidarbha Bottlers (P) Ltd. Nagpur .v/s. State of Maharashtra and anr.) on 01/04/2026. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the petitioner is similarly situated with the petitioner therein.

Perusal of the present petition reveals that the petitioner has already approached the respondent No.1-

Principal Secretary for similar relief by submitting representation on 08/04/2026. The representation is on record page No. 46.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the grievance of the petitioner will be redressed if such representation is directed to be decided by the respondent No.1 within a stipulated period.

In view of the aforesaid request, we pass the following orderi] The respondent No.1 is directed to decide the aforesaid representation dated 08/04/2026 within a stipulated period of eight weeks from the date of production of order of this Court ii] The representation shall be decided on its own merits and in accordance with law and more specifically in view of the order of this Court dated 01/04/2026 passed in Writ Petition No.5016 of 2024 (M/s. Vidarbha Bottlers (P) Ltd. Nagpur .v/s. State of Maharashtra and anr.).

iii] The petitioner is directed to produce the copy of the order of this court alongwith copy of the order passed by this Court referred supra within a period of one week from today before respondent No.1.

iv] The decision taken thereupon shall be communicated to the petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date of decision.

The writ petition stands disposed of, in the above terms. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed of. No order as to costs.
